FIRE-RESIST is seeking to appoint an External Expert Assessor to provide independent feedback on the project’s strategic direction and technical results. The External Expert Assessor will be invited to:

• Participate in the end of year Assembly Group meetings.

• Review and comment upon major deliverables.

• Provide feedback to the Governing Board on the project’s strategic direction.

FIRE-RESIST’s External Expert Assessor will be an honorary (non-remunerated) appointment, although a provision has been made within the co-ordinator’s budget to cover the cost their travel to one Assembly Group meeting per year. It is expected that the individual concerned will have an established international standing in the field of fire-safe materials, with industry experience in at least one of the transport sectors represented in the project.
